Mommy's Little Helper

Tyler has recently taken pleasure is doing simple little tasks for Mommy. His little face just lights up when he hears, "Tyler, can you please throw this in the garbage for Mommy." And he marches right over to the sink, opens up the cupboard, throws in the trash, lingers a little looking at all the interesting things in the trash can, then, usually with a little extra prompting, closes the door and soaks up the praises from his mommy for a job well done!

A Fun Evening

Mommy, Riley, Tyler and Pooh Bear. We recently enjoyed an evening with Uncle John, Auntie Ellen, Cousins Carmen, Tim and Riley. The guys went golfing until quite late and then we all enjoyed strawberry shortcake with fresh berries from Johnny's garden!

Riclyn's Family

Riclyn, center, is the college girl from Kansas living with us for the summer. She is enjoying her Jackson experience so much that she recently decided to put school on hold and stay here for awhile. Here is a picture of her family when they came to visit.

Organizing the garage last Saturday proved to be quite entertaining for the little man. Daddy might have to sharpen all his chisels after the banging they recieved on the cement floor!

Keith's Family's Old House

This is the house where Keith and his family lived from '90 to '97. We walked past it while in Belgrade last weekend for his 10 year class reunion. It was interesting to see the familiar faces, meet spouses and kids, and catch up on what people had been up to since highschool.

Tyler's Ear Infection

Tyler came down with a cold Friday of Convention. Wednesday after we came home, his fever began to rise, and since he had been working on his teeth, we thought they might be the culprit. But after two nights of sporadic sleep, 1 bottle of baby pain reliever, and no sign of getting better, we took the poor little chumpers to the doctor. Sure enough, he had his first ear infection. His temp was up to 104.9! After 3 days of antibiotic and some quiet days at home, Tyler is finally getting back to his normal happy self! These pictures were taken just before his doctor appt. a week ago - he was feeling pretty punchy.
