La Cienega Special Meetings

The second week in March was our first special meeting (Especiales) here.  Preparations were similar to convention time (Anuales) and it was so nice to have Dana and Janell here to help!  Six workers came and four friends from Guadalajara.  We only had four overnight guests each night, as everyone spread out to other homes.  Most of the people who were in attendance are pictured above.  Special days!  These were the first meetings where Keith and I did not have translation and were able to glean some good things from each speaker. Some days it seems extremely slow, but I'm so thankful for the progress we are making with this new language.

Guadalajara Special Meeting (March 19)

A very special day with these very special people!  We're so thrilled to really be getting to know them, not just by name.  We appreciate their committed lives and the bread they share!
