1. I am happy :) I have more than I could ever want or imagine, and I am thankful.
2. My sister is only 13 months older than me and couldn't pronounce my name when I was born, so she called me "
Ninna." The nickname stayed with me all my growing up years and I still smile when I hear it at age 30.
3. The longer I live, the more I come to know, how little I knew, not very long ago!
4. I am up late
waiting for some overnight guests to arrive.
5. I live in a hole. The sun rises an hour later and sets an hour sooner than any other place I've ever lived. But this place has grown on me and I can't think of myself living anywhere else right now.
6. My children have taught me a lot about myself. The most significant lesson I have learned is that I had NO CLUE how to "give of myself" before they were born. Now I am learning, and I hope I can get better and better as the years go by.
7. I do wish I had more time to keep up my blog and check in on you all too. I appreciate everyone who stops by and leaves a
comment.

The mixing bowl was full to the brim and all was going well, when Tyler reached for the lever and flipped the mixer on HIGH SPEED. Weeeee! Yes, we had batter everywhere, including on Boyd who was calmly watching from his Bumbo just a few feet away. And yes, all I could do was laugh - nothing else seemed quite appropriate.

We camped at the KOA which had a really nice pool and water park. Tyler could have stayed in the water all day!
Auntie Kay, Uncle Todd, cousin Aiden, and Uncle Rick all came to swim with us.
I could think of nothing better to do than take a nap. The water was much to cold for me. I prefer my warm bath water at home!
We enjoyed a late afternoon BBQ at our camp spot. Don't worry Grandma, the BBQ stains came out of Tyler's shirt just fine with that handy-dandy spotter you got for Mommy:)

The goats were definitely a favorite as they would let Tyler pet them and then suck on his fingers!

The fairgrounds are 1 block from our house, so we walked over in the evening after the carnival started and Daddy took Tyler for a little train ride.

After meeting Sun., we stopped by the supper market, grabbed picnic food and gathered at the Falls. The kids enjoy this much more than trying to sit still in a restaurant. Cliff, Jewel and Kevin were in town, so it was extra special to be with them.
