4th of July

Grandma and Grandpa brought Kyla down from Kalispell to spend a long weekend with us. We packed up the trailer and drove over to a get-together at Borgman's in Idaho. What a wonderful time we had!

Borgman's shop was all set up for the potluck. We ate a whole lot of good food and then listened to some good music.

We camped out in our tent trailer at Borgmans. We fit all 7 of us in quite comfortably :0) After a wonderful breakfast, we headed for home where we rested up a bit, worked some more on the house, and prepared food for a potluck on Sunday. Sunday morning we packed in the car again and went to I.F. Then Sunday evening we went to the Bar J Chuckwagon. It was a fast, full, and very fun weekend.

Progress on the House

Dad worked tirelessly, chiseling the stone off the fireplace. Keith joined in when he came home from work and the little foreman fired out orders from a safe distance:)

Good thing Grandpa overbuilt Tyler's wagon a little. It came in really handy on this job site.

As if the stone demolition wasn't rigorous enough, we told Dad be couldn't leave until he tore out the old wood floor. Unfortunately, it only took him one afternoon - this meant we couldn't keep them here longer than they originally planned. I guess we'll have to come up with something that takes a little longer next time ;0)

Special Company

Thank you Grandpa, Grandma and Kyla for sharing your 4th of July weekend with us. Kyla, you were so fun to have around and we sure appreciate all the help you were. Thank you for being Tylers big sister for a few days!

Mom, we sure appreciated all your tender care and good cooking. And thank you to both you and Grandpa for the nice clothes for the boys - they sure are looking sharp these days!
