Spring may be a ways off yet, but their budding relationship keeps warmth within my heart!

Winter Projects

Last month, Keith and the boys finished carpeting the stairs down to my laundry room. Tyler was SO thrilled to run the staple gun for awhile. We also pulled the washer/dryer up the stairs and Keith laid new vinyl in my laundry room. Yay!

I seem to have plenty of help in the kitchen these days. From cracking eggs, to peeling carrots, to stirring a batch of meatloaf, Tyler is my right hand man. Boyd is watching and learning fast too.

The latest project has been finishing the stairs going up. We were so happy to have borrowed this finish sander from Paul N. which made the job much easier. I was also tickled that it could be hooked directly into the shop vac which meant NO DUST!

After the sanding, Keith smeared on the black filler, sanded again, and then stained the stairs the same color as our main floor. It makes me smile to see them finished now. I'm thankful to have such a dedicated, hardworking crew around here!

Aw Winter!

We received our first big snow last week. It was fun to get out and enjoy it!
