We had the camper loaded and ready to go, so when Keith got off work Fri. evening we headed out for Cody. Here we are on the Continental Divide in the S.E. corner of Yellowstone. Still nearly six feet of snow.

We were excited to see and photograph a young grizzly near West Thumb in Yellowstone. There were no camp spots for tent campers in or near the park because of bear management. We finally found a spot in a nice spacious campground about ten miles from Cody (10:30pm.)

The next morning we rolled into Cody and right on out the other side a few miles to the Cody convention grounds. We helped a little in the convention preparations, set up our camper in the pasture, got naps for the boys and then went back to town for a little cup o'
jo and a smoothie. And thanks for the message, Mom. We checked on the 7 C's site here at the coffee shop :o)

That evening was a BBQ at the K. & L.
Schuebel residence. Good food, good fellowship!

After meeting Sunday, we went to buffet dinner at the Irma (Buffalo Bill's Hotel.)

Happy campers!

Sunday evening was a graduation dinner for
Kody Schuebel. More good food and visiting.

Monday was the big workday on the Cody convention grounds. Around 100 people showed up to power wash buildings, hall beds and mattresses, clean bathrooms, do laundry, set up tables for the dining room and
cafeteria, and clean up the yard. It was great fun and the boys enjoyed it thoroughly. Tyler's parting comment as we pulled off the grounds (just before his eyelids came down with a thud), "It sure was nice to be at Cody preps.....snore :o)

Looking forward to seeing you this way before long too :-)
Tyler & (His parents):-) Thanks for sharing Cody preps with me. "Sure was good to be there too" Very easy to picture those good ole work days there.
Quite something to think of the first weekend of preps at Cody, the same time of Irene's funeral service.
Thanks again for sharing of the day.
