Happy Birthday Tyler!

Non-stop snow on this 5th day of April, 2010!

When a boy can't find a toy, and his mommy's too busy to help...

A simple birthday dinner - taco salad. But the pico de gallo and guacamole were outstanding (thank you Alison and Pioneer Woman)!

Make a wish.

His favorite part - blowing out the candles.....even more than eating the cake, I think!

Tyler had decided nearly 5 months ago that he would like a Bob the Builder cake at his next birthday...

I went on line and found there are endless ways to make a homemade Bob the Builder birthday cake. I chose a fairly simple one and tried not to mess it up too badly :o)

Digging in!

The bigger the bite the better the taste, right?!

A fishing pole from Mommy and Daddy!

Practicing his cast off the front porch.

A guitar from Grandma and Grandpa Q.

Very thrilled! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!

Also delighted with his gift from Grandma and Grandpa B.! He got to open this when we were with them in G.F. this weekend. It's an awesome book on insects and a critter condo. He can't wait for it to stop snowing so he can go on a bug hunt.

*Smile*Sigh*Thank you, everyone!

What an awesome day for an awesome little 4 year old. The cake is perfect Melinda! You are so artistic :-) (I still LOVE the drawing you did for me, and always will. Plus, I can still see that little girl w/ the curly hair playing in the snow by the house - just that free-style pencil drawing you did - I loved it!)

Anyway, thanks for your posts and photos ~ I really enjoy seeing/reading them. Hope Keith is well now too and you're all back on your feet.
