I was carrying Boyd today and groaning a little. He is getting so heavy and not so easy to position around my growing tummy. Then I began thinking back and remembered Tyler was exactly Boyd's age (nearly 26 months) when Boyd was born (nearly 26 months ago!) So, I couldn't resist going back to see just how Tyler looked and acted at the same age Boyd is now. It's interesting how they both decided to become quite clingy right around the same stage in their lives. Do you think it has something to do with the new baby and the thought of impending change?.....hmmm. Anyway, it was fun to see how far Tyler has come since his little brother entered his life. He has gone from very "high-maintenance" to a very "big helper!"
It's good for my own growth and development to have difficult stages in raising kids, but I'm so glad they don't last very long! And there's plenty of happy moments to offset the frustrating ones which makes it all worthwhile! Speaking of happy moments, only eight more weeks until Boyd has a little sibling as well - yay!

Ugh! I can completely relate to the difficulty holding a not-so-little one anymore on my where-have-they-gone hips!(: What cracks me up is when someone tells me I shouldn't lift groceries/etc. since I'm pregnant...

lol Jeannie. How true! Great picture Melinda-so precious! That's neat that they are around the same age. We are excited to meet our new niece/nephew soon!
