Last weekend was THB's annual summer board retreat and company picnic. The boys and I joined Keith, along with board members, owners and employees at noon for a tour of this house and then a delicious BBQ dinner in the evening.
This home has many standout features, but what I liked best were the many stone patios. This large one on the back side includes a fireplace, outdoor kitchen and dining area, a huge custom hot tub, and a fire pit with seating. Can you imagine such a place to hang out on a warm summer evening?!
The home is situated on a golf course with beautiful Teton views. This timber frame arched entry funnels all the way through the house to a similar arched back entry. Keith has been project manager on this job for the past year and a half.
Here we are finishing up lunch on a large patio under the back entry. The owner of the house is the blond man in the green T-shirt and khakis in the foreground. I'm always amused at the personalities and profiles of the owners of these large homes. There are no two alike - that's for sure!
The picnic took place at a park in Wilson. Jes (the office manager) brought all kinds of things to keep the kids entertained, but the real hit was this pinata. Here, Tyler gears up to take a swing.
Boyd's turn.
