Late Winter

Winter seems to hang on here in Jackson Hole.  The first day of Spring came and went with a slight drop in temperature and a chilly breeze, and since then we've hovered in the mid twenties.  But thank goodness for friends that encourage us to get out anyway!  We observed the day with a walk on the elk refuge road and were rewarded with such sites as the ones seen in the above pictures along with elk and beautiful swans.  And I'm happy to conclude: there is beauty in every season, even if our Spring could more accurately be labelled "Late Winter!"
