Reaching back into the photo folders from this summer, I found these photos of little Boyd Bear. Grandma Sue sent him this backpack, knowing that he would see his big brother head off to school with one and want one of his own. It is the perfect pack for a 3-year-old mind, full of imagination. The wings and cape are held on by Velcro strips, so he can easily take them off and on, depending on the activity he's engaged in. Mostly, he likes them on, flapping in the breeze as he runs circles in the yard.
