Last night we tore up most of the carpet and discovered beautiful hardwood in the livingroom! It's also in the entry, up the stairs, hallway and throughout the bedrooms. We will try to refinish and keep as much as we can.

Our New Project
So here's some inside shots of our "new" house before we tore into it. You can see the dark brown wallpaper in the dining/kitchen which came off with ease last night. This house had been smoked in for at least 20 years, so lots of tar on the walls, especially above the baseboard heaters.
Last night we tore up most of the carpet and discovered beautiful hardwood in the livingroom! It's also in the entry, up the stairs, hallway and throughout the bedrooms. We will try to refinish and keep as much as we can.

Just great to see pictures of your "new" house, I bet your going to enjoy having more room. Someday you'll look back and say "wow". M&DQ
