What Makes A Good Mud Pie?

...start planning the night before. Locate your dirt source, buckets, tools, etc.

...make sure you're well rested...

...then fill your bucket with dirt and water and just dig in with both hands...

...mix it till you get just the right consistency

...you'll know it's right when it starts sticking to your fingers...and everything else...

...but no matter how good those mud pies look, please refrain from tasting them!

I should be in bed but here I am looking at my nephews again. Looks like they had lots of fun with that mud. Your a good mama to let them play in the mud! ;) The video is so cute. Thanks for sharing!

Love the video! VERY cute! :) The mud? Not so cute. But that's why the BOYS are playing in it and not me! :) They had fun and that's what counts! :)

By the way, how did you clean them up? With a hose? :) I, honestly, just cringe at the thought of squishing around in mud like that. People always laugh at me because I'm such a sissy and afraid to get TOO dirty! :)

Aw yes, Jen, the hose works wonders ;o)
