Brings back fond memories. If any of your kids -- present or future ;-)-- likes to cook, they might like to try out some of the foods that are mentioned in the Laura books. There is a Little House recipe book available that was fun.
And for the real die-hard "Laura" fan, there are sets of books about her mother's (Caroline) and her grandmother's (Charlotte) and her great-grandmother's (Martha) growing up years. (not written by Laura, of course, but still good)
I think I just gave away our secret obsession. ;-) We're done with it now, but for awhile there we were enthralled. Thanks for the memories!
Oh yes, cozy winter evenings can't be beat! But, how about if we say "Fall Evenings." lol Although, we are currently having a snowstorm tonight - kind of neat, but hope it doesn't stay and make for a long long winter now... We still haven't enjoyed the fall colors around here yet!

We haven't started our next book yet. Too much "reading homework" right now. Enjoy!
