Flying High

Tyler wanted to buy a kite with his garage sale money. We shopped around and eventually ordered this kite off Amazon. We waited two weeks for it to arrive in the mail and Tyler was so excited to give it a try. The package said 5mph winds would be sufficient to fly this kite but do you think there was even a slight breeze that day, or the next day, or the next? Finally, on Sat. morning the leaves began to rustle in the trees and Tyler exclaimed it would be a perfect day to fly his kite. So we set tools and paintbrushes aside and headed for the soccer fields at the high school.

Tyler sure enjoyed kite flying and Boyd had a ball tramping all over those wide open fields.

And now we have another reason to be flying high: our basement is finished!

We are glad to have it complete and a renter already settled in!
