Yesterday, the boys helped me dig up the garden. It felt good to be outside in the warm autumn afternoon. It has been fun to watch Tyler and Boyd interact lately. The bond of friendship between them in strengthening. They still have their fragile moments when Tyler asserts himself and Boyd
rebels, usually ending in squawks and pushes and sometimes tears. But the
compassionate, tender, rewarding moments are
coming more and more frequently.

Flossing teeth in the morning - an activity they'll drop their toys for and come running! They love to brush and floss just like Daddy. I hope the enthusiasm lasts into their teens and beyond!

Playing in the kitchen sink. The perfect way to end an evening when Daddy is working late at the office. Boyd sure
adores Tyler and tries to mimic his every move. He's just not quite as coordinated and neat about it and Tyler has learned some patients. Most of the water you see on his shirt is what Boyd put there! And visa versa. Boyd has learned to put up with a lot of big brother bossing the bullying too. Aw well, it's wonderful they have each other and are growing closer with the passing of time.

What precious pictures!!! Does it ever bring back memories too. Remember how much John loved to play at the kitchen sink, he would drag a stool over to the sink, crawl up and the dishes stacked in the sink with water kept him entertained for for a long time. Thanks for sharing, WE LOVE IT!!!
What a sweet post, Melinda. It does a parent's heart good to see their children being kind to each other. I think it must warm God's heart when His children care for one another, too.
It seems like Boyd's looks are changing.
