Janelle has arrived and how wonderful to have her here! She stayed several days with us before moving into her own place and the boys became very attached. At first they called her Janis, having never heard her name before. But they have it down now and Boyd keeps saying, "Jan-
elle?" wondering where she has gone. She started her new job today, so we wish her good luck!

Last Monday morning, I could hardly get out of bed. My back was so
stoved up, I had to bend way over to walk and drag myself up and down the stairs by clinging to the handrail. Picking up the boys was nearly impossible. This was the result of taking a two month
sabbatical from any form of exercise. So, that very morning we bundled up, pulled out the jogger and walked to swimming lessons. It was a very slow walk, but we made it! We walked Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and added a little stretching and crunchers in and by Saturday I was totally pain free. Now, to keep it going - one of my new year's resolutions! Above, the boys are perched on a snow bank on one of our outings.

On Friday the Rec Center had their Holiday Party complete with a horse-drawn wagon ride. Here's Tyler with his swimming buddy, Erin.

These are the same teams that do the Elk Refuge tours all winter.
