Fun to have a big 3-year-old in the house again! There are so many things about him that tell me he is growing up. But perhaps the most noticeable is his newly found enthusiasm for telling stories!
We had planned to celebrate his birthday with a campfire on the banks of the Shoshone River at Cody. But due to winter weather in Yellowstone, we were not able to make it through Friday night and had to return home. Yes, it was quite a bummer.
However, once we switched gears, and got involved with projects and activities closer to home, the weekend flew by, and we had a blast! By the end of Boyd's birthday festivities, he had forgotten all about his disappointment over not going camping. We'll look forward to trying Cody again next year!

Looks like you still got the s'mores in! What a fun idea to put candles in it. Happy Birthday Boyd!
Oh! How sad you didn't get to go! I see the sleeping bags discarded on the floor. Let me guess, you unloaded them after you got home and then the boys rolled around on them for a while. :)
SO glad you had a fun birthday Boyd even if you didn't make it to Cody. Those smores look pretty nummy!
Love you!
Happy Birthday, Boyd! The girls were disappointed to not see you! And a s'more cake...? Awesome!
How sweet! Love that you're teaching your kids how to deal with disappointments. And LOVE that you're teaching them about the finer things in life -- s'mores! ;-)
Happy Birthday Boyd! Looks like it was a fun one with s'mores!! Yum!
I like the candles in the s'mores, too! Thanks for fun pictures of your family. A fun way to get to know them!
Adorable kids!!
I think I might have met you sometime. I am not quite sure, but I have a brother who used to work for George and Susie, Nate, but he doesn't anymore. Have I seen you at convention? :)
