On March 11th we arrived at the airport in Guadalajara to pick up some very special guests! There was so much excitement and anticipation leading up to their arrival. Maybe the above photo captures a bit of this.
And here they are, safe and sound! Janell and Dana. They were very special to us for many reasons, but mostly because we spent some very quality years with them in Wyoming. And now it was hard to believe they were both with us here in Mexico!!
First stop: street tacos in El Grullo!

Monday we drove the scenic loop to the reservoir and around through the mountains back to La Cienega.
Tuesday we took a walk around our town...
...and made some amazing enchiladas!
How fun to have these two in my kitchen again! And what an added bonus to have their help as the workers began to arrive for special meeting. More about that in the next post.
