We're Still Here!!!

Yikes! Time has slipped away and I have neglected to post for 3 months! Here are some photos from where I left off in December.
This photo represents some very quality time with our workers Lynette and Rosie.  Lynette is from Iowa, but has spent the last 36 years here in Mexico.  She has been a huge help to us as we try to understand our new language and culture.  Rosie is native Mexican and speaks only a little English.  She loves the kids and is so pleasant to have in our home.

This photo represents our winter break.  It was so nice to step away from school and the daily grind for awhile.  We didn't travel; instead, we got out and enjoyed the sunshine and outdoor activities close to home.

These two photos represent Christmas day and Keith's Birthday!

One highlight of winter break was the day Salva brought his horse for the kids to ride!

We saw the New Year in at the home of our friends in El Limon - a few miles from our house.  We enjoyed games, cheesecake, and this spectacular castle built of fireworks!

That's all for now.  Will try to post more soon.

Funny thing . . . I bookmarked your blog and checked it every once in a while. Didn't realize it was taking me to the December post rather than the home page. So I thought you were taking an even longer break! :-D Glad to catch up <3
