Life Beyond Cycling

The boys have a new bed! They love it and are sleeping wonderfully!

We had a garage sale three weeks ago. Our garage was packed full, so was quite a job to sort, clean, and mark everything to sell. We unearthed this freezer box/play house, and the boys enjoyed it all over again. We were so busy the day of the sale, we didn't stop to take any pictures. Janis brought things to sell too, and she was a tremendous help. After the sale we all went down to help Paul and Janis in their move from Alpine to Hoback. Great to have them only 17 miles away now!

A week later, the construction crew showed up to work on the basement.

The kids had a great time in the front yard. This is Lane, trying his hardest to get the gator going :o)

Pool fun.

Joe finished the trim.

Tyrell C. finished the electrical.

And thanks to Kevin and Keith, we now have a new shower surround in our upstairs bathroom.

I had a wonderful birthday. We had a picnic potluck in the park complete with a balloon, strawberry shortcake, lawn pool, and great company.

Our little chumpers.

Our not-so-little chumpers

A few of the picnicers.

Caution: mechanics at work!

Boys having fun. Last weekend JoAnne and Steve had our tired out LOTOJA crew for a wonderful gourmet outdoor dinner. Steve made this cart for cruising on the hill in their back yard. Tyler had a great time on it!

The trip home from I.F. Sun., was very short for the boys and I. We slept the entire way! Betty had given the boys some books in the morning, so here's Tyler checking them out after his long nap. Thanks Betty, he's been enjoying these books all week!
That's it for now. Guess I'd better get some rest. Tomorrow will be a busy one as our goal is to finish the basement!
