Stone Walkway Project

The artist/mason/do-it-yerselfer hard at work. You may have noticed the large stack of stones that Tyler was watering in a post from last week. These heavy flat rocks came from the fireplace Dad helped us demo a couple years ago. Now they're finding a final resting place in our front yard. Keith had the brilliant idea of using them to make a sand-set stone walkway from our front door to the driveway.

The sand makes great road building material for the boys and their Tonka toys.

Trying to straighted up after a hard day's work. The walkway is being done as part of a front yard landscaping project. We're also putting in some wood chip beds around the trees and under the eves and adding some planter pots with flowers. Hopefully it will dress the place up a bit!
