Happenings

This photo was taken a month ago now, but it embodies the current state of our little ones.  We were so thankful to have stayed healthy through the holidays and even through most of January.  But alas, our number has come up.  Coughing, fevers, and restless nights have left the boys (and Mommy) with little energy.  However, there's light at the end of the tunnel and we're hoping to be back in good health soon.

Our Jackson special meeting was in Dec. and what a nice time we had with all the extra company and goings-on.  Bonnie S. was our overnight guest.  A remarkable lady, with an endearing smile, and an amazing care and compassion for people.  We also loved our Blackfoot special meetings this month.  We enjoyed a potluck, wonderful fellowship, and an overnight stay with Bob and Mary.  We came away encouraged!

And here we have our friend Dancy and her twin daughters (dressed in the boy's costumes), Ellie and Olivia.  I include this photo, because it represents something very special to me.  Dancy's son is in Tyler's class.  So we have been sitting for each other every week to facilitate volunteering in our kindergartners' writing class.  It has been so fun and insightful for both of us.  Now the school schedule has changed, so I am helping out in the math class.  This has added a whole new dimension as the class is taught in Spanish.  I am quickly learning how much I don't know, but the time in the classroom with Tyler is still super special!

All for now.  Have a wonderful weekend!
