The summer and fall of 2011 went by in such a blur, I'm not totally sure it really even happened. August, September, October; I think they just missed putting those pages in last year's calendar.
Reaching back in the photo files though, I realize those months really did come and go, and they were packed full.
This was a Sunday afternoon, spent with one of our wonderful friends, Janell.
String Lake was so beautiful last fall, even with a smudge of smoke in the air. It was so pleasant and warm. Tyler kept remarking that we had "made the right choice" to come there. The boys could have stayed till dark, wading and splashing, and squishing their fingers and toes into the soft muddy sand.
Loved this time. Hope we can do it again next summer.
