Catching Up

Christmas In Kalispell
What a wonderful time! Here we are at Keith and Jolene's for Christmas dinner/potluck. It was scrumptious - we even had lefsa and sandbaucles (sp?) to remind us of our Norwegian heritage.

Then we went outside to burn off a few calories. Here's Uncle Randy on the 4-wheeler, pulling a sled. There were a couple other happy sled pullers giving me a ride!

There were three Christensen siblings in attendance, six grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren!

The next day we spent at Randy and Alison's. Tyler was so tickled to throw a ball for Tober - over and over again. He didn't realize he was even cold until he couldn't move his fingers anymore to pick up the ball! We rode snowmobiles, opened more gifts, played games, ate more delicious food, and watched old movies of the Clarence Benjamin family in the 50's.

Sat. morning we had a little birthday celebration for Keith. He turned 30 this year, so couldn't let it just slip past. His birthday cake was a coffee cake to go along with his morning cup o' jo.

Thank you Mom and Dad, Randy and Al, and Keith and Jolene for your wonderful hospitality! It was nice to spend some time with Great Grandma Gladys too and thank you, Grandma, for the yummy cookies and treats! Also thanks to the Hagboms for organizing the swimming. We had an absolutely fabulous time!

New Years
New years eve was pretty low key around here. We played games with Tyler until 10pm when we watched the "Ball Drop" on Earthcam. We also watched our own festival of lights and fireworks show from our back window. There must have been 200 skiers up on Snow King, riding the chair lift up with flairs and then skiing down forming a huge snake of red light. I tried taking this picture with the night setting, but couldn't hold the camera still enough with an excited toddler in one arm:)
New year's day was relaxing as well. It snowed all day and Tyler couldn't wait to get outside in it.

We do try to get a certain amount of work done around here and one worker in particular is always more than willing to jump right in!

Until next time - have a wonderful weekend!

So great to see your boys growing up! They are SO cute and seem to be full of spunk! I'm impressed that Tyler is skiing already...Ryan is anxious for Damion to try it soon (next year??). Keep warm over there! FYI - our blog has moved to www.all-about-our-days.blogspot.com
