This race starts at the town square and heads straight south down Cache St. toward Snow King. When the runners reach the ski hill, they make their way up the cat track. The finish line awaits them at the very top of the mountain.
The race attracts a real diverse crowd. From the very serious, to those just out enjoying the scenery. If you click on the pic below, it will enlarge and you can see Keith in the middle, white shirt and bright green shoes.
We interrupt this race for a little update on the munchkins...
Monte is nearing 11 months now. He's crawling with great enthusiasm, pulling himself up on everything, and trying to get a word in edgewise. He loves to swing, loves to ride in the backpack, and loves to eat. Even with a belly that's about to pop, he still gets excited over anything that looks edible!
Boyd is stretching out, losing his baby fat, trying hard to keep up with big brother. He's kept us on our toes and in stitches lately with his expanding and mysterious use of vocabulary. He loves riding his strider bike and doesn't miss a chance to go riding with Daddy.
And Tyler. Sweet Tyler. He is growing up so fast. He is counting down the days until school starts. Sometimes very excitedly, sometimes with a little anxiety. He can be found lately with his finger in his mouth, wiggling his loose front teeth. He also loves riding his bike, playing police and speeding race cars, and building with his Lego's and bristle blocks.
And here's Daddy on the big-kid-swing, coming down the hill after the race. He did great, striding up that steep hill in just over 35min! I love it that he stays so active. It really keeps us all going and feeling good. Way to go Keith!
