Choose your color boys; we are going to paint some horses!
Tuesday eveing found us at the White Horse Social, a fund raiser for Horse Worriers. This groups uses horse riding as therapy to help at-risk youth. There were lots of kids and 6 or 8 horses to paint. Then hotdogs and contests and some live music.
We enjoyed some rides Thursday evening...
...a little chummin' around with Bransen and Rayah Friday evening...
...and some excellent Indian (that's the country India) cuisine and cotton candy with Janell Saturday evening. It's nice to have the fair in our backyard, very handy to just walk over their and check out the different activities. What's not so nice is the noise, the mechanical noise of the rides going round and round, the screaming, the music blaring till midnight, and the strange and interesting characters parading past our house all day and into the night, and the continuous traffic jam on our otherwise quiet street. They say if ya can't beat it, join it, so we did for awhile, but I'm glad it's over.

Fun times, but I can imagine how happy you were to wave good-bye. Reminds me of something said at convention -- The flesh wants to be entertained, but the spirit craves peace and quiet.
I love it! How fun to paint horses...You have some very artistic boys! Aren't you glad the fair is only once a year!
Yeah, you did have some interesting characters parading by! Looks like it was fun, I was disappointed we were gone for it. Thanks for the reminder that our peace and quiet out here is really something to be thankful for! :)
