.....as the first day of Kindergarten? *Sigh*
I'd be fibbing to say the awareness of this day creeping up on me wasn't leaving me with a little anxiety. But Tyler's bright smile, his enthusiasm and confidence has made all the difference. He woke this morning and his first words were, "Hey Boyd, today's the day I go to school!"
It was nice to meet his teachers at an open house yesterday. I think Tyler is already in love with them. When we dropped him off and took him to his room, he found his desk and just wanted to stay put. As if to say, "I'm finally here now, and nothings going to coax me away!" We said goodbye, and gave him a quick squeeze, then snapped a few candid shots on our way out the door.
Though it's hard to let him go, it's a thrill to see him growing and moving into a different faze of life. We're looking forward to all the experiences Kindergarten will bring!

Such sweet pictures and he looks so "ready"! Yes, it's still hard to let them go, even after 6 years of doing it. sigh... Hugs!
Congrats Tyler! Big hugs from the Hills house.
He's looking so grown up! Lane wishes he could go this year too, but alas, one more year! Mommy's okay with that though.(:

Oh...I remember those exact feelings not too long ago! I love these pictures that you took.
