Three Little Fishies

This has been the best summer of swimming lessons ever.  Tyler and Boyd loved their teachers and the other kids in their classes, and I had so much fun in the water with little Monte.  They all came a long way in their swimming skills too.

These photos are from the last lesson.  Daddy came to watch and took the pictures on his phone for us.  Here's Boyd and his class getting a ride from their teacher, Matt.

Here's Tyler, diving for a toy off the bottom of the pool.  This was a new skill he developed this summer.  He also learned to do several other things on his own such as float on his back for 15 seconds, front stroke 20 feet with no breaths, and jump into deep water and then swim to the side.

Monte is so excited to have Daddy at swimming lessons he's having a hard time focusing.  The idea here though, is that they sit on the edge and kick their feet in the water.  Then we all count to three and the babies tip into the water.  This helps them learn only to get into the water when they have the go ahead from mom.  Not to just dive in whenever they please.

Boyd getting a ride down the slide with his teacher.  He also learned some new skills like how to float on his tummy for 10 seconds, back float for 5 seconds, and jump into water over his head.

Tyler practicing his front stroke.  He's the one just above the teacher.

Mommy and her three little fishies.  Tyler and Boyd both graduated to the next level.  They are excited to do swimming lessons again and I'm just thankful they're having so much fun learning a skill that will benefit them for life.
