Here they are, Saturday morning, loaded and ready to go. Tyler and Boyd excited for books on tape, Monte with his fold-up toothbrush/teething toy and passie, ready for his morning nap. Little did they know what lay before them on this first big day of our BIG TRIP. They were such troopers. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner, in the car, moving down the road, stopping only for potty breaks and to stretch our legs! Twelve hours and 700 miles later, we rolled into Reno. Actually 20min south of Reno, to a warm and cozy home smelling of fresh baked cookies. We snuggled down into comfy beds for our first sleep away from home. Oh how good it felt to stretch out horizontal and drift into peaceful slumber! I'll introduce our gracious hosts on Day 2.
