Off We Go To Mexico!

These next few posts tell the story of our winter break trip to Mexico.  The purpose of the trip was to show the kids Guadalajara and La Cienega and have them meet the friends and workers there.  We drove to Salt Lake on Dec. 20th and left on an early Delta flight Monday morning to LA and then on to Guadalajara.  Everything went smoothly and the kids thoroughly enjoyed their first flying experience.

We arrived in Guadalajara around 8pm and the workers met us at the airport.  We rented a van and drove to our motel. Above we are just leaving our room to go find a late supper.

The workers met us at the motel for breakfast and a visit.  The kids enjoyed exploring the yard after breakfast.

After checking out of the motel, we went to Walmart to gather some supplies for our stay in La Cienega. Walmart had everything, complete with a huge mass of shoppers and long lines at the checkouts. Then we met the workers at their batch and they kindly brought us on our way out to La Cienega.

Loved all the pictures! Thanks so much for sharing. It's neat to see poinsettia's growing in the ground, as I have one sitting on my table right now. Glad you made it home safetly! Hope to see you this spring!!!

Hi Keith and Melinda! I got to enjoy lunch on Sunday with your folks, Melinda, and they shared your new plans and the blog address. Was so nice to envision a little of what this plan will mean for your family and also, what it will mean for the friends there! Im sure they are elated and probably don't think it will happen soon enough! So happy for you all.

Hello dear Kieth and Melinda and family! I just heard news of your move also! At first I'll have to admit to feeling dismayed at the idea, but after reading your updates here it, it helps me understand and appreciate it all! I will certainly keep you in my thoughts and prayers there and look forward to more updates! We have also felt a little dismayed at where God's leading has taken Dale B, but thankful for all who are willing to respond to God's dealing and leading and fill new places. Thank you for your posts!
