We arrived in La Cienega just before dark. We went straight to Nati and Tere's house for a nice supper and short visit. Then everyone came down to the convention grounds to welcome us into our house.
Nati and Teri's kids, Dan and Natali, had surprised us with a couple dozen balloons in the living room. The kids had a great time batting them around. Then everyone left and we settled in for our first night.
Tere and the kids came for lunch. Dan and Boyd are the same age and same height! Natali is the same age as Monte.
Tere wins Kendra's friendship by offering her peanuts :)
Victor is another one of the friends. He is married to Mari and has three boys, Alan, Glen, and Edwardo. Victor has several jobs, but one of them is the town announcer. He drives around La Cienega and several other towns twice a day announcing news and advertisements from a loud speaker mounted on top of his car. He invited the kids to ride with him one evening and they had a blast!
Oatmeal and bananas before bedtime :)
