Keith enjoys another run!
The hot water situation: for dishes we heat a big pot of water on the stove, for laundry we heat more water on the stove and fill the washing machine with a bucket, for warm showers we start this wood fired hot water heater. It works pretty well. We cycled our whole family through the shower and never ran out of hot water!
Laundry helpers.
The outdoor sink and laundry area.
Just outside La Cienega there is a natural hotsprings. They have developed it into a nice water park. Tere brought us here Saturday afternoon and the kids enjoyed several hours of splashing in the pools.

Dear Keith and Melinda,
My sister Rosa Elia Morales shared your blog address with us. I live in Australia with my husband and we have two children, Philip who just turned 21 and Amy who just turned 20. I just want to tell you how deeply your story has touched my heart. I thank God for people like you who have the kingdom first in their lives. You will sure fill a useful place and we wish you lots of joy in your new home in La Cienega. I was there only once, many years ago, when I was a teenager. I hope we'll meet you all one day. Sending love and hugs,
Paul and Anita Christian
